Gossip Boutique was created in 2010 by Cadi Pedigo Gary and in early 2023, Mallie LaFleur Smith was given the opportunity to carry on the business. Mallie was raised in Prairie Ronde, LA and graduated from Opelousas Catholic High School. Since completing her degree in elementary education at UL Lafayette, she has worked as an educator for over 14 years. She and her husband Brett, a Eunice native, have been together since 2014 and live together with their son Jaxin and two fur babies, Ruthie and RamBo.

Mallie has had a lifelong love for fashion and glamour but when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021, she realized quickly that life is too short to avoid following your dreams. When Cadi decided to move on from Gossip, Mallie and Brett realized one of their dreams was to own an incredible business in Eunice, LA...that business so happened to be Gossip Boutique. For Mallie, Gossip Boutique is more than a business; it's a dream that has come true for her family and a place where women can find pieces that make them feel even more beautiful in their own skin.
